This itinerary isn’t set in stone. Pick, mix, swap however you like – your trip will be totally tailor made for you.

Day 1
Rio de Janeiro

Welcome to Rio! Your guide will welcome you and accompany you to your hotel on Copacabana Beach.

Day 2
Rio de Janeiro

Start the day with a trip up to the iconic Christ the Redeemer. The statue sits atop the Corcovado Mountain, looking down upon Guanabara Bay, Sugarloaf Mountain and the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. Zig zag your way up there on the toy train, chugging through the lush Tijuca Forest, populated with monkeys and parrots, before stopping to breathe in the views at the top.

Day 3
Rio de Janeiro

Today you’re exploring the buzzy streets of downtown Rio accompanied by your guide. Learn about this fascinating city on the way, then end your day with the two-stage cable-car ride to Sugarloaf mountain, where you can get fantastic views of the city and Copacabana Beach.

Day 4
Rio de Janeiro – Iguaçu Falls

Today you’re jetting off to visit the astonishing curtain of tumbling waters known as the Iguaçu Falls. You’ll be taken on a guided walking tour on the Brazilian side of the falls to observe them from various viewing points. Your guide is on hand to point out contis (racoon-like creatures) lurking for tourist crumbs as you move along the winding trail. You’ll end up speeding down in an elevator to another viewing point at the foot of the thundering falls.

Day 5
Iguaçu Falls

Time to cross the border into Argentina to see the Iguaçu Falls from another angle. You’ll see some of the Argentinian Iguazu Park by train, before exploring the upper walkways of the rainforest on foot. Stand on the platform suspended on the brink of the Devil’s Throat – the largest of the waterfalls here – before returning by train to see the San Martin Falls.

Day 6
Farewell to Brazil

Time to take your last photos – you’re off to the airport for your flight home.
