Day 1
Arrive in Siem Reap and Angkor Wat tour

Your local guide will welcome you at the airport and you’ll be driven to your hotel in Siem Reap for a four-night stay. Head out in the early afternoon to see one of south-east Asia’s most sought-after sights – the temple of Angkor Wat – part of a vast collection of ancient Khmer ruins. Return back to Siem Reap for an overnight stay, visiting a local handicrafts workshop on the way.

Day 2
Ancient temples tour

Go on a tour of Cambodia’s spectacular Angkor monuments including the terraced temple of Ta Keo and the ancient jungle-entwined ruins of Ta Phrom. You’ll also spend half a day exploring the vast ancient Khmer capital of Angkor Thom with carved stone temples and terraces surrounded by a large moat. Head back into Siem Reap for the night.

Day 3
Northern Angkor tour

Drive to the northern Angkor area, visiting the ancient pink sandstone Banteay Srei temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Continue your adventure with a hike through the jungle to the magical River of a Thousand Lingas, with a series of ancient carvings visible in and around the sandstone riverbed. Drive back to your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 4
Roluos and cruise to Tonle Sap Lake

Your guide will lead you on a tour of the area around Roluos with the oldest known Angkorian temples. Explore Roluos town and visit the local market before boarding a traditional sampan for a voyage along the Roluos river to the picturesque Tonle Sap Lake. Discover stilted villages, flooded forests and learn about local daily life. Return to Siem Reap for an overnight stay.

Day 5
Siem Reap and fly home

Take a tuk-tuk tour to visit the National Museum in Siem Reap before transferring to the airport for your departing flight.
