Arrival in Cape Town
Welcome to Cape Town, affectionately known as the Mother City of South Africa. You will be met on arrival by one of our representatives who will transfer you to your hotel.
In the afternoon, explore the sights, sounds and happenings of the Atlantic Seaboard and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
There are plenty of activities to fill your second day in Cape Town. Step back in time with a visit to the District Six Museum or a ferry to Robben Island, or absorb the majestic beauty of the iconic Table Mountain with a walk or cable car to the summit.
Cape Point & shark diving
Take a panoramic tour of Cape Point or visit the local area of Gansbaii for a shark diving experience.
After a busy day of sightseeing and exploring, visit the Sotano restaurant at the Splendida hotel. Its magnificent ocean views provide a popular get together spot for summer sundowners.
On to Kruger National Park
Leave the southern point of Africa behind as you enjoy a direct flight from Cape Town Airport to Skukuza Airport, in the heart of the renowned Kruger National Park. You will be met on arrival for a scenic transfer to your safari lodge.
Kruger is one of the premier game-watching destinations in the world, home to approximately 147 mammal species. It is possible to see all the ‘Big Five’ animals here, including elephants, and black and white rhino, as well as hippopotamus, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, warthog and many antelope species.
Kruger National park
After an early breakfast, head off for your first morning drive through Kruger National park. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to catch some of the area’s larger carnivores, including lions, leopards and cheetahs.
As the sun sets during your late afternoon drive, hop out of the Land Rover to revel in the beautiful surroundings with a gin and tonic!
Night drive in Kruger National park
Complement your final day of safari with a late night drive to see some of the park’s nocturnal activity.
Flight to Zambia
Bid your safari guide farewell before enjoying your last drive through the Kruger Park en route to the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport. Here you will board a regional flight to Livingstone, Zambia.
This is the main hub in Zambia for visitors to the world-famous Victoria Falls, but also offers a wealth of activities to be enjoyed in adjoining Mosi-oa- Tunya National Park.
The Victoria Falls
Visit the Victoria Falls from either the Zambian or Zimbabwean side to take in the breathtaking natural wonder.
Livingstone and a sunset cruise
Relax next to your hotel’s swimming pool or take a stroll into Livingstone. The town is named after the Scottish explorer, David Livingstone, and his life’s exploits and story can be viewed in the Livingstone Museum.
Finish your holiday with a sunset cruise on the Zambezi river for crocodile and hippo spottings amongst breathtaking natural scenery.
Bye for now…
You will be transferred back to the Livingstone Airport to check in for your onward departure flight.
