Day 1
Arrive at at Hoedspruit Airport

Your journey starts at Hoedspruit Airport, a small airport in the Limpopo province surrounded by game rich wildlife parks. On arrival you will be met by a representative of your lodge who will transfer you to your destination in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, right in the heart of the Greater Kruger.

Day 2
Klaserie Private Nature Reserve

Take a walking safari led by experienced and professional game rangers through a wildlife area rich in game including lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo as well as hyena, hippo, giraffe, zebra and a whole host of other wildlife.

In addition to walking safaris, Big 5 game drives and night drives are offered allowing guests to participate in a full spectrum of safari activities.

Day 3
Klaserie Private Nature Reserve

After another day of game drives or walks, take time to relax by the pool and enjoy a traditional South African barbecue (braai) around the camp fire.

Day 4
Take the Panorama Route to Graskop

Bid your hosts farewell before being transferred by road to Hoedspruit Airport. Collect your rental car and begin your travels along the scenic Panorama Route to Graskop. You will be based at a quaint boutique style hotel for the next three nights from where you can explore the beautiful landscapes and activities that the Panorama Route is known for.

Day 5
Explore the area around Graskop

Discover the numerous places of interest in the area, including water falls such as the Berlin Falls and Lisbon falls, the Blyde River Canyon (the largest green canyon in the world), Bourke’s Luck Potholes, God’s Window and the Three Rondavels.

Day 6
Explore the area around Graskop

Adventure seekers can look forward to the Aerial Cable Trail through the tree canopy, abseiling, mountain biking, rock climbing and white water canoeing and rafting.

For those preferring a more relaxing day out, the historic town of Pilgrim’s Rest is just a short hop away.

Day 7
Travel to Swaziland

Leave Graskop behind as you make your way along the southern border of the Kruger Park to your next overnight stop, a picturesque lodge en route to Swaziland.

Day 8

Arrive in the landlocked kingdom of Swaziland, known for its wilderness reserves, its arts & crafts, and its festivals showcasing traditional Swazi culture. Stay at a wildlife sanctuary in the beautiful Ezulwini Valley, home to tame birds and animals that are free to come and go and wander through the camp grounds.

Several trails and tracks suitable for horses run up Nyonyane Mountain to the craggy summit known as Execution Rock. The Nyakato viewpoint overlooks Mantenga waterfall and the Usushwana Valley below.

Day 9

Explore local culture by visiting places such as the Swazi Candles Craft Market, Ngwenya Glass factory or the Mantenga Cultural Village.

Day 10
iSimangaliso Wetland Park

Wend your way further south towards the iSimangaliso Wetland Park in KwaZulu Natal and check into your guesthouse, where you will be spending the next three nights. The park is huge protected area that is home to large numbers of hippos, crocodiles, pelicans, flamingos, elephants and leopards. Its centrepiece is the vast St Lucia lake, one of the world’s largest estuaries with five separate ecosystems

Day 11
iSimangaliso Wetland Park

Take a guided boat tour of the St Lucia lake for wonderful sightings of the prolific wildlife and bird life. The margins of the lake are studded with mangroves in which mud skippers, fiddler crabs and mangrove whelks can be seen.

Day 12
Cape Vidal

Spend a day at Cape Vidal on the Indian Ocean with a snorkelling tour.

Day 13
Time to fly home

Bid your hosts farewell as you self drive to the King Shaka International Airport just outside of Durban. Return your rental car before boarding your flight.
