Day 1 Arrive in Bangkok
Your local guide will meet you at Bangkok’s International Airport, assist you with your luggage and transport you to the exclusive Peninsula hotel. Enjoy breath-taking views of the Chao Phraya River and the city beyond from your room, richly furnished in Thai silk-clad finishes and complete with an indulgent marble bathroom.
Day 2 Essential Bangkok tour
Visit Wat Pho temple to witness the monks’ morning chanting ritual and enjoy a 45-minute massage at the temple’s original Thai massage school. See the Royal Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha before boarding a long-tailed boat along the klongs (canals) of Thonburi to Wat Arun. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, then your guide will lead you to Chinatown to explore Old Bangkok and its bustling markets. Return to the comfort of your luxury hotel.
Day 3 Ultimate Gastronomy Experience
Start your day with an early morning trip to The Or-Tor-Kor market, sample foods and exotic fruits. Then it’s on to The Bussaracum Royal Cuisine Restaurant, where you’ll join a food carving workshop, before indulging in a lunch fit for a king adorned with beautifully carved decorations.
Return to the hotel for an afternoon break and relax with a dip in the riverfront pool.
We’ve saved the best for last, with a delicious meal at Nahm, the first Thai restaurant to have been awarded a Michelin star.
Day 4 Fly to Chiang Rai
You’ll be picked up and taken to Bangkok airport for your flight to the northern Thai city of Chiang Rai. Your guide will transport you to the Anantara Golden Triangle & Elephant camp resort, one of the finest hotels in Chiang Rai, offering refined luxury surrounded by tropical jungle. Relax with a 90 minutes spa treatment before choosing from rich northern Thai curries or homemade Italian pasta from the resort’s highly acclaimed restaurants.
Day 5 Walking with giants
Journey into the jungle with the resort’s elephants and their mahouts on their daily walk, and watch as these gentle giants splash in the river or play in the mud, snack on leaves from nearby branches and socialise with the herd.
Day 6 Take the scenic route to Chang Mai
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, before meeting your guide who will escort you to the glittering white glass temple of Wat Rong Khun. Then, it’s time to sit back and relax as you take a scenic drive to Chiang Mai.
Spend the afternoon exploring the vibrant food and flower markets, before taking a short drive to Doi Suthep Mountain, soak up the spectacular views on the way to Wat Phra That, one of Northern Thailand’s most sacred temples. It’s worth the climb to the top for the panoramic view over the city. Return to Chiang Mai for a rickshaw ride through the quiet streets of the old town.
After a busy day, it’s time to relax at 137 Pillars House, an elegant, boutique style hotel in the heart of Chang Mai offering gourmet dining and sumptuous suites.
Day 7 Sights And Sounds Chiang Mai
Experience local rural life on a half-day cycling excursion along quiet roads passing temples and ruins. Visit a local bakery and pottery, then cycle along the scenic Ping River and stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon join a renowned local chef on his organic farm, learn how to pound curry paste and to make an authentic Thai curry. Create a dessert with the fruits you pick right from the trees. Enjoy your culinary efforts for dinner before returning to your hotel.
Day 8 Doi Inthnon and Red Hmong
Your guide will pick you up and you’ll travel to Doi Inthanon National Park, home to the highest mountain in Thailand and a haven for birds. Break the journey with a visit to a Karen hill tribe village, and the beautiful Wachiratharn Waterfall. After lunch, return to Chiang Mai and relax at your hotel.
Day 9 Hot Air Balloon Adventure
Enjoy a breath-taking hot air balloon ride over Chiang Mai including a champagne breakfast. Fly over trees, lakes and streams with the chance to spot wildlife from the air.
Then, it’s back to Chiang Mai Airport for your flight to Phuket. You’ll be met at the airport and taken to your deluxe cottage, which is situated on the exclusive Pansea Beach.
Day 10 James Bond Island & Sea Canoe tour
Explore Phang Nga Bay Marine National Park, famed for its hundreds of rock formations rising out of the sea. Board a canoe for a guided tour of the island’s underwater caves and lagoon. Cruise to James Bond Island (Khao Tapu), famously featured in the film “The Man with the Golden Gun”. Enjoy a tasty lunch while slowly cruising the beautiful Phang Nga Bay to Lawa Island. Spend some time swimming or relaxing before returning to your cottage.
Day 11 Phi Phi Island & Bamboo Island By Private Speed Boat.
Embark on a private speedboat tour of Phi Phi Islands. Cruise to Monkey beach, populated by wild monkeys, then it’s on to Maya Bay, made famous by the film ‘The Beach’. Visit Viking Cave, known for its swifts’ nests used in Bird’s Nest Soup, and secluded Coves for snorkelling. After lunch at a local seafood restaurant, swim at the beach of the idyllic Bamboo Island. Then return to Phuket and back to your luxury cottage.
Day 12, 13 & 14 Relax in your deluxe cottage.
Enjoy a few days of relaxation, stretch out on your private terrace or follow the jungle walkways to the private bay with its clear turquoise waters and pristine white sand beach. The resort also includes a luxury spa and a choices of fine dining.
Day 15 Say farewell to Thailand
Your guide will pick you up from your villa and take you to Phuket airport for your flight home.
