Day 1
Arrive in Bangkok

Your guide will meet you at Bangkok international airport and take you to your hotel in Thailand’s energetic capital.

Day 2
Cooking class and dinner show

Head to Lady Prim’s traditional teak house in the centre of Bangkok for a royal Thai dessert cooking class. In the evening go to Sala Rim Naam for a three-course dinner and classical Thai dancing in a richly-decorated pavilion. You’ll be driven back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3
Agricultural life and Bangkok food tour

Drive to the provincial hub of Mahasawat for a glimpse of Thai agricultural life including orchid farms, lotus fields and organic orchards. Visit rural temples and explore the canals and stilted houses by boat. Stop by local artisans, try Thai crispy rice crackers and learn to make them yourselves. You’ll be transported back to Bangkok for an evening culinary tour before heading back to your hotel.

Day 4
Bangkok markets tour

Rise and shine to catch a glimpse of Bangkok’s busiest fresh seafood market before heading to the colourful Damnoen Saduak floating market for a boat tour. You’ll also be taken to a less-known spot – Don Wai market – next to a temple where you can sample some famous local dishes and dine at a riverside restaurant. Return to your Bangkok hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 5
Fly to Chiang Mai and home-hosted meal

You’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken to Bangkok airport for a domestic flight to the northern city of Chiang Mai. Your local guide will meet you at Chiang Mai airport and escort you to your hotel. In the evening you’ll experience a home-hosted meal in the beautiful teak home of a traditional Lanna family before retiring back to your hotel.

Day 6
Hill tribe village visit

Leave Chiang Mai for a full day trip to Mae Kampong hill tribe village in the region’s picturesque countryside. Stop en route at a local market to buy ingredients for a cooking lesson with a local family. After a delicious lunch, take a walk through the forest and tea and coffee plantations before enjoying a traditional Thai massage and heading back to your hotel in Chiang Mai.

Day 7
Chiang Mai cooking course

Discover the secrets of Thai cuisine on a full-day cooking course that includes preparing soups, salads, curries, satay and desserts. Learn how to stir-fry, steam, and serve food the Thai way and taste your dishes afterwards. A driver will take you back to your hotel in Chiang Mai.

Day 8
Fly home

Your guide will transport you from the hotel to Chiang Mai airport for your journey home.
